6 Bucketlist Experiences for You and Your Pup

1. BARK Air

Proving that dreams really can become reality, the owners of the popular pet subscription service - Bark Box - created a dog-centric airline. Without limitations on weight or breed, Bark Air is truly an airline built for dogs and around dogs, providing a “white paw experience” for your furry best friend and going so far to offer lavender-scented towels and calming treats. With Bark Air, you’re not limited to only US-based flights - departing out of New York, you can travel overseas and visit London, Paris, Madrid, or even Lisbon! Still newly opened, Bark Air is sure to come out with many more travel destinations soon!

Their super easy check-in process includes a consultation with a Bark Air concierge after you’ve booked your dog's ticket (1 ticket covers travel for one human and up to two animals, as long as their combined weight is 50lbs or less) to provide the most comfortable experience during your travels. If your dog gets anxious easily, no worries! Bark Air provides a dog-centric environment and is happy to accommodate. During take off and landing, your pup will be provided with a complimentary beverage, such as water or bone broth to prevent ear discomfort that’s generally caused by change in cabin pressure. The Bark Air in-flight experience also includes BARK-branded treats, snacks, and unique surprises for your pup.

No checkpoints or crates are required, and if you’re traveling internationally, Bark Air is happy to usher you through the Customs procedure. Seemingly the only rule is that all dogs must have up-to-date vaccination records in order to board Bark Air, to maintain a safe environment for all pups on the flight.
